Working With Clients Around Career Stress in the New Climate: Preparing Clients for the Gut-Punch of a Shifting Culture, Layoffs, Career Transitions and Opportunities

CE Workshop with Lisa Kays, LICSW, LCSW-C & Judith Klavans, Ph.D.
Online via Zoom Video

Given the uncertainty of the job situation in Washington, D.C. and the federal government due to the policies proposed by the new administration, Lisa Kays PLLC, and Judith Klavans, Ph.D. invite you to attend this workshop focused on the emotional, pragmatic and financial factors related to a climate of job uncertainty. Such a climate impacts different individuals in a variety of ways depending on a number of factors–some may be grief-stricken and numb due to the potential loss of a meaningful career, some may view it as a welcome opportunity for change and transition, and others may be extremely stressed due to financial implications. Join us to learn more about the potential emotional and psychological impacts of this new job environment on our clients, as well as to hear pragmatically from a long-term career counselor with experience in the private sector and federal government, what clients may expect, how to protect themselves, and how we can best support them.
